Payment Plan

An arrangement to pay a UK tax bill after it is due (i.e. after the deadline) is called a 'Payment Plan' or 'Time to Pay' arrangement. This can apply to arrangements made between HMRC and individuals, companies, employers, VAT registrants, etc.

Subject to timing and the amount of tax owed, the application can be made online, otherwise it has to be done via direct contact with HMRC.
